Turn Your Scraps into Headturning Quilts
Friday, March 4, 2022
Cynthia Brunz will be showing many examples from her vast quilt collection on how to use scraps in unique and innovative ways. Her love of color and bold designs can be seen in many of her quilts. Cynthia loves to share how to use anywhere from the smallest of scraps to project leftovers – including orphan blocks. She feels there is a home for every scrap!
About the Speaker:
Cynthia Brunz began her quilting journey as a child playing with her grandmother’s fabric scraps and sewing them together on an old treadle machine. To this day, she is still a scrap quilter to the core.
She is a quilt lecturer/teacher, longarm quilter, pattern designer and quilt blogger. Cynthia loves to share new and innovative ways to turn scraps into beautiful and colorful finished quilts. Her quilts have been featured in many magazines, books and industry social media sites. Mostly inspired by color, her quilts are always a treat to view and many are made entirely from leftovers.
Cynthia lives in Eugene Oregon. When she isn’t quilting, she enjoys creating beautiful flower gardens filled with an abundance of colors and texture. Her gardens definitely inspire her quilting and vice-versa!
