My journey in Quilting, choosing fabrics for quilts, prepping your complete quilt

Friday, January 8, 2021

In my lecture I will describe how I got into quilting, despite hating sewing. I am of Indian heritage and how this has contributed to my love of colour.

Over the years whilst preparing so many of my designs, I have found easy ways of choosing fabric as well as preparing your quilt so that it is then portable. Choosing fabric is described by many as "difficult". I have no qualifications regarding art, colour etc. I believe I have an innate sense of colour -and I will describe how I've arrived at that.
