The idea of “Boro” comes from the process of Japanese “visible mending”.  Kintsugi means things are more beautiful when they are repaired than when they are perfect. Transforming a flaw into a feature, making the repair a part of its history. The goal is to cherish and extend its life by honoring its history and the moments of damage.

We will make small boxes using scraps and add Sashiko stitching for interest and fun. All boxes must have a tiny pocket- for special treasures!

No special sewing skills needed. We use simple materials and spend a day inspiring each other!

Workshop Fee includes 10.2% sales tax.
