The idea for Fractured Shapes came from Larkin Van Horn, now retired from traveling.  Arlette taught the technique in the past and is excited to bring it to BPQ!

Circles are creatively cut apartand spread to form imaginative and uniquely original designs.  A second layer of the design creates a shadow contrast adding depth and movement.  After fusing the design in place, decorative stitches finish the raw edges.  It offers great oppotuities for embelishments and bling, although the design is certain to shine on its own merits as well.

Fractured circles may be the perfect method to customize shirts and jackets, pillows, tote bags, or even a mandala centerpiece.  You won't want to miss this chance to be inspired!
